Lean-To

Lean-to Conservatory

Lean-To Conservatories, alternatively known as Mediterranean, Sunroom, or Sun Lounge, are perfect for smaller spaces. They are ideal when extra space is needed, and their no-nonsense style suits many homes. Additionally, they come with the added benefit of a box gutter, making them suitable for bungalows where height is at a premium. They also offer other options, such as full-height glazing or sitting on a dwarf wall, as shown in this illustration.

The Victorian.

The Victorian Conservatory boasts classic English charm with a pitched roof and faceted front. It complements any home style, offering an idyllic space for lounging or dining. This style can have a three or five-facet design, including a bay front and ornate ridge details.

Depending on the location, the entrance door can be either on the front of the bay or one of the sides. If there is room, we can change this to French Doors for convenient access to your garden.

Gable Front Conservatory.

Gable-end conservatories offer maximum height, creating a lovely interior space. The conservatory’s height provides an open and spacious feel. At the same time, the Gable front adds style and maximises natural light.

At the same time, the Gable front adds style and maximises natural light. The Gable can be styled in various ways, such as Sunburst, Sunrise, Sunset, and Georgian Cartwheel. Georgian bars are inserted between the glass panes to achieve the design or traditional horizontal mullions that split the glass into two equal sizes.

Edwardian Conservatory.

The Edwardian Conservatory, also known as the Georgian Conservatory, is a highly favoured design due to its architectural features. This style is distinguished by its symmetrical rectangular shape, clean lines, and square corners. The front roof has a gentle slope with a central ridge, creating a sense of spaciousness and elegance within the Conservatory. This roof is showing roof vents added for better ventilation.

One notable advantage of the Edwardian style is the option to have a solid wall on one side of a neighbour. At the same time, the glass roof design allows abundant natural light to enter, contributing to a bright and airy environment.

Double Hipped Edwardian.

Double-hipped Edwardian combines traditional conservatory design with practicality, using the most available floor space. Due to the two ends of the roof, it stands out and can appear quite grand. It gives a real wow factor and blends particularly well with large, period properties. Also, it is beneficial for use on houses with low eaves and bungalows as a box gutter can be accommodated on one of the sides, giving you a more significant height than previously available.

Glass Box Extension,

Glass Box extensions are moving forward with our fast-paced world’s times and demands. The Glass Extension Conservatory is a fashionable option. It suits those looking for a more minimalist and contemporary extension, is spacious and lets in lots of light. You have two frame options: either an Upvc frame, as shown, or a slimline Aluminium. Our illustration shows Anthracite grey (7016) on White with a traffic door on the right side with Bi-Folding doors on the left that can open out, opening the whole area up and bringing the outside in. Orangery

Orangeries, with their custom combination of brick pillars and a central glass lantern roof, can elevate the elegance of any property. These structures, often featuring brick or super-insulated aluminium columns, add a touch of grandeur. With high-performance glass and innovative thermally efficient technology, the design options, such as insulated internal pelmets with internal spotlights and decorative cornices, offer endless possibilities to create a unique and stylish space, evoking a sense of luxury and grandeur.

P shape, T shape and Odd shaped Conservatories.

The p-shaped conservatory has a lean-to-style section leading into a larger bay-fronted area reminiscent of traditional Victorian conservatories. The bay section can comprise three, five, or seven glazed panels. P-shaped conservatories are spacious, providing more room inside your home and reducing the need for additional rooms. Additionally, you have flexibility in connecting these structures to your home. Whether you want to enhance your living area, create a home office, or establish a sunroom, the P-shaped conservatory can be tailored to fulfil your vision for an expanded and more versatile living space.

T Shaped Conservatories.

The T-shaped conservatory is ideal for your home, particularly if you have a spacious garden. The central bay of the conservatory serves as a passage from your house to your garden, seamlessly connecting the indoor and outdoor spaces. The protruding gable section of the T-shaped conservatory creates an appealing focal point for your home. The central projection extends outward from the rest of the conservatory, forming an elegant entranceway. Equipped with French Doors and sliding patio doors, it improves natural light intake and fosters a sense of internal and external visual balance.

Odd Shapes.

We have installed numerous uniquely shaped Conservatories. If you want a Conservatory in an unusual space in your home or garden and would like some ideas, please take a picture and let us know your requirements. We will do our best to accommodate your ideas and provide a solution that meets your needs.

The project encountered a significant challenge due to the unique roof design, which tapered to a point at one end. Several companies attempted to configure it as a Lean-To roof. Following their evaluations by multiple window companies, it was collectively determined that proceeding with the original plan could not be feasible. Subsequently, we devised a roof design solution. We installed a box gutter along the house wall, thus facilitating the construction of the roof framework.

A functional space was created from the unused area.
