Custom Conservatories by Southeast Windows Ltd
At Southeast Windows Ltd, we specialise in custom Conservatory Style, including constructing the groundwork for the final piece of glass for the roof. We tailor our conservatories to match your style, ensuring they perfectly complement your home. We offer energy-efficient liniar window frames in various colours, providing the extra space you desire. Choose from a diverse range of conservatory styles, including Edwardian, Victorian, Garden Room (Lean-to), P-shaped, T-shaped, gable-fronted, and Orangery designs. Additionally, our Ultraframe Wendland roofing system, backed by government BBA certification, guarantees high quality and leak-free performance.
Lean-To Conservatories
Lean-to conservatories, also called Mediterranean, Sunroom, or Sun Lounge styles, maximise smaller spaces when you need extra room. Their straightforward design suits many homes, including the option of a box gutter, making them perfect for bungalows with limited height. You can also choose full-height glazing or a dwarf wall, typically 600mm high, to suit your needs.
Victorian Conservatories
The Victorian Conservatory exudes classic English charm with its pitched roof and faceted front. This style complements any home design, offering a picturesque space for lounging or dining. Whether you choose a three or five-facet design, the Victorian conservatory includes a bay front and ornate ridge details. Depending on your garden area, you can position the entrance door at the front of the bay or on one of the sides. If space allows, we can install French doors for easier access to your garden.
Gable-End Conservatories
Gable-end conservatories maximise height, creating a bright and open interior. The gable front adds style and allows more natural light to enter the space. You can customise the gable design with options like Sunburst, Sunrise, Sunset, and Georgian Cartwheel styles. Georgian bars can be inserted between the glass panes to create a traditional look, mimicking horizontal mullions that divide the glass into equal sections.
Edwardian Conservatories
The Edwardian conservatory, also known as the Georgian style, is highly favoured for its symmetrical rectangular shape and clean lines. This design features square corners and a gently sloping front roof, creating a spacious and elegant feel. Roof vents can be added for better ventilation. One significant advantage of the Edwardian style is the option to have a solid wall on one side for privacy, while the glass roof allows plenty of natural light to enter.
Double-Hipped Edwardian Conservatories
The double-hipped Edwardian design merges traditional conservatory features with practicality, maximizing floor space. Its two roof ends create a grand appearance that complements large, period properties. This style is especially beneficial for houses with low eaves or bungalows, as adding a box gutter on one side increases the available height.
LivinRoof by Ultraframe
Ultraframe LivinRoof system perfectly balances solid and glass elements, transforming your conservatory into a comfortable, year-round living space. This hybrid roof system offers flexibility in design, privacy, and the comfort of a solid roof while allowing natural light to flood the room. Whether upgrading an existing conservatory or starting fresh, the LivinRoof system provides a range of unique options to suit your needs.
Glass Box Extensions
Glass box extensions are a modern, minimalist option for those seeking a contemporary look. These spacious extensions let in ample light, offering a sleek alternative to traditional conservatories. You can choose between uPVC or slimline aluminium frames. Our example shows anthracite grey on white with a traffic door on the right side and bi-folding doors on the right. The blue self-cleaning glass roof includes options for roof ventilation.
Orangery Designs
Orangeries elevate the elegance of any property with their combination of brick pillars and a central glass lantern roof. These structures often feature brick or super-insulated aluminium columns, adding a touch of grandeur. High-performance glass and thermally efficient technology ensure comfort. Custom options, such as insulated internal pelmets with spotlights and decorative cornices, allow you to create a unique and luxurious space.
Solid Roof designs
Conservatory Warm Roof system is a testament to our commitment to modern technology. The solid roof system can transform your Conservatory, Extension, or Orangery into a comfortable, all-year living space. It eliminates the extreme temperature fluctuations, sun glare, and rain noise often associated with older glass or polycarbonate roofs. Moreover, it can be easily installed on any roof style, providing excellent energy efficiency.
P-Shaped, T-Shaped, and Odd-Shaped Conservatories
The P-shaped conservatory combines a lean-to section with a larger bay-fronted area reminiscent of Victorian styles. This spacious and flexible design allows you to create a sunroom, home office, or additional living area.
The T-shaped conservatory is ideal for homes with larger gardens. It seamlessly connects indoor and outdoor spaces, and its central projection serves as an elegant focal point. It is equipped with French or sliding patio doors.
For those with unique spaces, we offer odd-shaped conservatories tailored to your needs. If you have an unusual area in your garden, share your ideas and pictures with us. We will do our best to design a solution that meets your requirements.
Case Study: Overcoming a Unique Roof Design Challenge
The project presented a significant challenge due to the unique roof design, which tapered to a sharp point at one end. Several companies attempted to configure it as a Lean-To roof, but after multiple evaluations, it was determined that the original plan was not feasible. Despite these setbacks, we devised an innovative solution. We installed a box gutter along the house wall to address the challenge. This strategic addition allowed us to create a stable framework for the roof, ensuring proper drainage and support. Our solution successfully overcame the design obstacles, resulting in a functional and aesthetically pleasing space.
Dead, unloved space transformed into a functional area
This case study highlights our commitment to problem-solving and delivering high-quality results, even in the face of complex design challenges.
Customised 3D Design
Our 3D CAD software allows us to design conservatories with millimeter-perfect precision. This technology ensures that your conservatory will be tailored to your preferences, from window and door locations to brickwork colours. You can visualise the final product before installation, ensuring every detail aligns with your vision.
Made-to-Measure Conservatories
Each conservatory is individually tailored to your specific requirements. We recommend thoroughly researching available styles and options to make informed decisions and ensure you choose the best fit for your home.
Versatile Options for Your Conservatory
All our conservatories offer a wide range of glass and frame options. You can choose energy-saving, self-cleaning glass for the roof, as well as A+ energy-rated uPVC frames. We also offer options for Bi-Fold Doors, French Doors, or Inline Patio Doors. Adding a box gutter is a practical choice for bungalows, and you can decide between full-height glazing or a standard 600mm dwarf wall. These versatile options allow you to create a conservatory that perfectly suits your needs.
