Most of the information we need should be on the quotation proposal, including the designs and sizes together with the specifications, allowing us to respond quickly.

Ensure designs are viewed from the outside, with width first, followed by height. Include all sizes, add-ons, and external cills if needed. Highlight toughened glass requirements with a capital T if the window is below 800mm from the internal floor height.

Building Regulations Compliance.

Approved Document F – Ventilation (updated 15th June 2022): All habitable rooms must have trickle vents. Indicate if this should be in the head of the frame or opening sash.
Energy-rated requirements include A++ triple glazing, A+ double glazing, and B minimum.
Fire Escape: All bedrooms require a means of fire escape and must be designed accordingly.

Roy and his team fitted new windows and French doors in our house earlier this year (we wanted to live with them for a while before reviewing!). I got quotes from a few companies however Peter was the only one who followed up to my questions on email so I decided to go with Southeast Windows. I am super glad I did, as Peter was professional and I am really happy with the work done in installing a new PVC backdoor and replacing glass in several windows.
