Versatile, no-nonsense elegance to any home.
Lean-To Conservatory
Lean-to-conservatories, sometimes referred to as Mediterranean sunrooms or sun lounges, are practical solutions for those seeking to maximise space stylishly. They are especially suitable for confined areas, making them an excellent choice for homes with limited outdoor space. Their straightforward, rectangular design allows them to seamlessly integrate with various architectural styles, from modern to traditional. This stress on practicality instils confidence in homeowners about their choice to maximise space for many uses.
Why Choose a Lean-to-Conservatory
Tailored to Your Needs: Lean-to-conservatories can be customised with various options. Whether you prefer a sleek, full-height glass design or a traditional 600mm dwarf wall, you can tailor your conservatory to match your personal preferences and the character of your home.
Adaptability: One of the critical advantages of a lean-to-conservatory is its adaptability. Whether you live in a terraced, semi-detached, or detached home, this conservatory style can be customised to fit your needs. Single or French Doors can exit your garden, or on the larger Lean-to, we can install Bi-Folding doors to maximise the opportunity to enter we can also change this to a inline Patio Its simple design is particularly beneficial for corner-of-house installations, ensuring it fits snugly without compromising space or style.
Modern Features: Contemporary lean-to conservatories often feature advanced glazing options, such as solar-reflective tints and self-cleaning glass. This not only enhances the roof’s aesthetic appeal but also reduces maintenance efforts and improves energy efficiency. The low U-values associated with these conservatories ensure that your home stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer, contributing to lower energy efficiency provides homeowners with a secure investment in the long-term benefits of a lean-to conservatory.

CAD Design
Our advanced 3D CAD Conservatory software is a game-changer in the design process. It allows us to create highly detailed, millimetre-perfect designs tailored to your specifications. You can visualise every aspect of your lean-to conservatory, from the placement of windows and doors to the choice of brickwork colours. This level of precision ensures that the final product aligns perfectly with your vision.
Roof Vent Options
To ensure optimal ventilation and comfort, we offer two types of roof vents:
The manual roof vents are equipped with a screw jack and pole mechanism, allowing access to the screw jack mechanism. They are available in Brass or Chrome finish, making them an ideal choice for all conservatories to facilitate ventilation. The contemporary design of the manual ventilation ensures a clean appearance, effectively complementing the roof.
Automatic roof vents effectively address the challenges posed by rapid changes in weather conditions. By automatically opening and closing in response to temperature increases and rainfall, these vents provide a sophisticated solution for climate control. They necessitate an electrical supply box, offering the convenience of automated management of indoor temperatures.
Precision with 3D CAD Conservatory Design
Our sophisticated 3D CAD Conservatory software empowers us to design Lean-to Conservatories with unparalleled precision intricately. It allows for complete customisation of every aspect of the conservatory’s construction, including door and window placements, brickwork colours, and wall and window dimensions.
Lean-to Conservatory Base Options.
We offer two base options for Modern Lean-to Conservatories. As of June 15, 2022, the latest building regulations have changed the U-value requirements for building regulations in England. Floor values changed from 0.22W/m2K to 0.18W/m2K.
When building a conservatory or extension using the traditional method, a 600mm wide and 1-meter deep trench is dug and backfilled with C25 concrete, as recommended by building inspectors If trees are nearby, the trench may need to be dug to a further depth of 1500mm, requiring more labour and concrete. This method ensures a strong foundation for the conservatory or extension.
The DurabasePlus 100 system is designed for single-storey extensions and conservatories; this system offers a modern alternative with a 25-year guarantee and BBA certification. The picture features weed-resistant anti-membrane and steel module frames bolted together on padstones, offering a strong and durable base without deep footings.
