Victorian Conservatories Base Options.

We offer two base options for Modern Lean-to Conservatories. As of June 15, 2022, the latest building regulations have changed the U-value requirements for building regulations in England. Floor values changed from 0.22W/m2K to 0.18W/m2K.

Digging metre deep footings

Traditional Build: This method removes a large quantity of dirt and requires a 450mm or 600mm wide trench and a minimum of 1 metre deep filled with C20/25 concrete. It requires significant excavation and waste removal. If trees are nearby, this can increase to 1500mm deep depending on building inspectors’ recommendations.

The DurabasePlus 100 system is designed for single-floor Extensions and Conservatories. The picture shows weed anti-membrane and steel module frames bolted together, a drain cut out, and all sitting on padstones.
