Comprehensive U-Value Testing
Our windows undergo rigorous testing to ensure they meet the highest standards for energy efficiency. U-Values are evaluated based on the entire window, including the outer frame and the amount of air leakage through the glazed frames. Key factors include:
- Insulation of the uPVC frame
- Precise area and shape of the frame and glass
- Type of spacer bar inside the glass (no more aluminium bars)
- G value (solar gain)
- Visual Light Transmittance (V.L.T.)
EnergyPlus System
All Liniar uPVC profiles are manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility. The latest engineering advances ensure high quality for every home improvement project. The EnergyPlus window system features six multi-chambers that trap warm air, achieving U-Values as low as 0.8. This makes the windows suitable for Passivhaus homes when using triple-glazed units. The standard window with double glazing and argon gas can achieve a WER (Windows Energy Rating) A+ 12, giving you a cost-effective alternative. Liniar’s patented double-action bubble gasket ensures a continuous seal around the windows, even in the corners, to prevent draughts and ensure zero air leakage. With a wide choice of frame colours, finishes, hardware, and glazing options, this window system is a perfect match for any home. It offers complete versatility in window designs and security options, making it ideal for new build projects with Document Q approval.

Our standard A+ energy-rated uPVC window offers slim sightlines, allowing maximum light to enter your home. It is available in various configurations and styles, including top or side-hung, arched top, or French casement windows for fire escapes.

Goodbye Draughts
Our uPVC casement windows feature a unique, patented double-action bubble gasket, ensuring draught-free performance. The six-chamber EnergyPlus system achieves energy ratings of A+13 Solar Gain. Our double-glazed units include a soft-coat Low-E coating, argon gas between the glass panes, and a warm edge spacer bar. Upgrade to triple glazing with a BFRC license for even higher efficiency, achieving A+23 Solar Gain.
Insulation Tape.
All casement windows installed into face brickwork can be upgraded with ISO-BLOCO HYBRATEC advanced insulation foam tape. The tape is installed around the window frame before the window is installed, ensuring a permanent seal to the brickwork. It is impervious to wind-driving rain 1050 Pa. The tape is 64mm wide, designed for 70mm wide frames, expands from 3mm to 14mm following the brick wall contours, and enhances the insulation of energy-rated windows. The Insulation tape also provides a U-value of 0.55 and reduces sound up to 56db in a 5mm joint. It is best for Soundproofing when incorporated with Pilkington Optiphon™ Glass Units.
Enhanced Security
With 28mm double-glazed units, we offer upgrades to triple glazing with an A++ energy rating or soundproofing glass units with Pilkington 6.8 Optiphon. Our windows feature Secure by Design locking systems like the Kendrick Excalibur, tested to 100,000 cycles with a 10-year mechanical guarantee. These locks undergo a minimum of 240 hours of salt spray testing, exceeding BSEN 1670:2007 standards, significantly limiting entry options for burglars.
Durable and Stylish
All our uPVC casement windows are internally beaded and fully welded, providing top security and strengthening corners and joints between mullions and transoms. The chamfered option offers a symmetrical, contemporary style, ideal for modern aesthetics. Additionally, we can manufacture windows with graceful leaded glass designs, including square lead, diamond lead, and Queen Anne, or custom designs with various lead cane thicknesses and options for traditional flat or oval lead types. For added character, consider S.G.O. stained glass overlay, astragal bars, or Georgian bars to replicate small window glass panes.
